Towed Flights
For the Paratour team, since 1994, towing in teaching paramotor is by far, one of the best ways to bring safely a student to enjoy flying and faster in the basic skills of a good take off.

In paramotoring, the take offs is the less easy part of the training.

One has to run fast into the wing, steer right or left to keep heading, use the throttle handle to apply power, and all this within 10 seconds on a normal take off.

During training, one good way to master take offs is to use towing to teach student how to run, steer, take off and land.

This exercise allows the student to repeat this many times, until he has the ability

It is fun, easy and allows student to concentrate on the instructor's voice on the radio, while he is doing the right move.

With a good instructor, take off and landing safely can be taught in less than 10 tows and the use of a simulator throttle makes the exercise closer to the real thing.
